Course Access Policy
Version 3
Effective July 16, 2026
This Course Access Policy explains how Studio Kiku Academy accounts, course access, videos, materials, progress, and certificates may be used.
By purchasing or accessing a Studio Kiku Academy course, you agree to follow this policy.
Access Period
Unless otherwise stated on the course page or at checkout, your purchase provides one year of access to the purchased course beginning on the purchase date.
When the access period ends:
- you will no longer be able to access the course videos and protected materials;
- your account and purchase history will remain available where supported;
- your previously issued certificate will remain valid unless it is revoked for cause; and
- you may be offered the opportunity to purchase another year of access.
Course access does not renew automatically.
One Account, One Learner
Your account and course access are personal to you.
You may not:
- share your password or account;
- allow another person to watch or complete a course through your account;
- sell, lend, transfer, or sublicense your access;
- complete lessons or assessments for another person; or
- allow another person to earn a certificate in your name.
If an employer, clinic, or other organization wants multiple people to complete a course, it must purchase a separate seat for each learner.
Device and Streaming Limits
Each account may have up to two registered devices.
Only one active video stream is permitted at a time. Starting video playback on a second device may stop playback on the first device.
Studio Kiku may require identity or account verification if activity suggests:
- account sharing;
- simultaneous use by multiple people;
- an unusual number of devices;
- automated access;
- unauthorized redistribution; or
- a compromised account.
If you replace a device or need help managing registered devices, contact training@studiokiku.com.
Country of Access
Course access is initially authorized for the country associated with your purchase.
If you travel or permanently move to another country, contact training@studiokiku.com. Studio Kiku may provide a temporary travel exception or update the authorized country.
Cross-country activity may be flagged for security and account-sharing review. Studio Kiku may temporarily restrict access while verifying the account.
Country authorization does not mean that the course qualifies you to practise or that the course content complies with the laws of that country. You remain responsible for verifying all local legal and professional requirements.
Lesson Progression
Lessons may be required to unlock in sequence.
A required lesson must be substantially completed before the next lesson becomes available. The platform may track video playback and completion information for this purpose.
Attempting to bypass progression requirements, manipulate completion records, automate playback, or falsely represent course completion is prohibited.
Certificates
Where a course includes a certificate, the certificate will be issued after every required course component has been completed.
A certificate belongs to the registered learner who personally completed the course. It may not be transferred, altered, or used by another person.
Certificate verification and the information displayed through a verification link are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Permitted Use
You may use the course for your personal education and professional development.
You may take personal notes and use any downloads that Studio Kiku expressly makes available, subject to the restrictions shown on those materials.
Your course access does not give you permission to reproduce, distribute, teach, sell, publish, or commercially exploit the course or its materials.
Prohibited Copying and Redistribution
Unless Studio Kiku provides written permission, you may not:
- download course videos;
- record or screen-capture videos, lessons, or protected materials;
- re-stream, broadcast, display, or publicly perform course content;
- copy or distribute lesson text, photographs, graphics, assessments, or downloads;
- upload content to a file-sharing platform, social-media platform, artificial-intelligence system, or another website;
- sell, sublicense, translate, adapt, or create derivative materials from the course;
- remove copyright, trademark, attribution, watermark, or security notices;
- bypass digital-rights management, streaming restrictions, progression requirements, or access controls;
- scrape or systematically extract content or platform data; or
- use Studio Kiku course content to create or improve a competing course, training program, database, commercial product, or artificial-intelligence model.
Course content and Academy materials remain the property of Studio Kiku LLC or its licensors.
Platform Security and Acceptable Conduct
You may not:
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Academy or another account;
- interfere with the platform, servers, security, or video delivery;
- introduce malicious code;
- use bots, scripts, or automated systems to access or complete courses;
- impersonate another person;
- submit false account or completion information;
- use the platform for unlawful activity;
- harass instructors, staff, or other learners; or
- upload confidential client, patient, or medical information.
Suspected security vulnerabilities should be reported privately to training@studiokiku.com and must not be exploited.
Reviews and Community Features
If the Academy permits reviews, comments, or other learner submissions, your contribution must:
- reflect your genuine experience;
- relate to the course;
- avoid confidential client or patient information;
- avoid unlawful, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, or harassing content;
- avoid spam and undisclosed promotional material; and
- respect the intellectual-property and privacy rights of others.
Studio Kiku may moderate or remove material that violates this policy.
Suspension and Review
Studio Kiku may temporarily suspend access while investigating suspected:
- account sharing;
- unauthorized copying or redistribution;
- fraudulent activity;
- automated access;
- security interference;
- false course completion; or
- another material violation of this policy.
We may ask you to verify your identity, email address, devices, location, or purchase information before restoring access.
Where reasonably appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to explain or correct the issue.
Revocation
Studio Kiku may permanently revoke course access for a serious, intentional, fraudulent, or repeated violation.
Conduct that may result in permanent revocation includes:
- sharing or selling course access;
- copying or redistributing protected content;
- attempting to defeat security or access controls;
- falsifying progress or certificate eligibility;
- using a certificate deceptively;
- threatening the security or operation of the platform; or
- continuing prohibited conduct after receiving a warning.
Studio Kiku may also revoke or invalidate a certificate obtained through a material violation.
Refund eligibility following suspension or revocation is governed by the Refund Policy.
Technical Availability
Studio Kiku aims to keep the Academy reasonably available but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Access may be interrupted for maintenance, software updates, security issues, service-provider outages, internet failures, or circumstances outside Studio Kiku's reasonable control.
If you experience a technical problem, contact training@studiokiku.com with your account email address, device type, browser, and a description of the issue.
Policy Changes
Studio Kiku may update this policy for future purchases and may make reasonable changes needed to protect platform security, comply with law, or prevent misuse.
The version accepted when you purchase a course will generally govern that purchase. Security rules and legally required changes may apply to existing accounts where reasonably necessary.
