Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through Studio Kiku Academy.
Digital Course Purchases
Studio Kiku Academy sells access to digital educational content. Course access is normally provided immediately after successful payment, and the course content becomes available through the purchaser's account.
Because of the immediate delivery and digital nature of the courses, all sales are final and non-refundable except:
- where this policy expressly provides otherwise;
- where Studio Kiku agrees to provide a refund;
- where the purchased course is not delivered or is permanently unavailable;
- where there is a genuine billing error; or
- where a refund or cancellation is required by applicable law.
Please review the course description, available preview lessons, access period, technical requirements, Terms of Purchase, and Course Access Policy before completing your purchase.
Immediate Delivery of Digital Content
By completing your purchase and requesting immediate course access, you agree that Studio Kiku may begin supplying the digital course before the end of any cooling-off or cancellation period that might otherwise apply.
Where permitted by law, you acknowledge that receiving immediate access may affect or end a statutory right to cancel the purchase.
This acknowledgement does not waive any right that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
Billing Errors and Unauthorized Charges
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, including through a duplicate charge or an incorrect purchase amount, contact training@studiokiku.com within 30 days after the charge.
Please include:
- your full name;
- the email address associated with the purchase;
- the course purchased;
- the purchase date;
- the amount charged; and
- a description of the suspected error.
Studio Kiku will investigate and correct any verified billing error.
Reporting an issue within 30 days helps us investigate promptly, but it does not limit a legal right that provides a longer reporting period.
If you believe your payment method was used without authorization, contact your financial institution immediately and notify us at training@studiokiku.com.
Failure to Receive Access
If payment was successfully completed but course access was not delivered, contact training@studiokiku.com so that we can investigate and restore access.
A technical delay that can be corrected within a reasonable time does not automatically qualify for a refund.
If Studio Kiku cannot provide the purchased course within a reasonable time or within a period required by applicable law, you may be entitled to cancel the purchase and receive a refund.
Course Discontinuation
If Studio Kiku permanently discontinues a course before the end of your paid access period, we may provide:
- continued access to an archived version;
- substantially similar replacement content;
- access to another course;
- an extension of your access period;
- a prorated refund; or
- a full refund.
The remedy will depend on the circumstances, the amount of the course already delivered, and applicable law.
Change of Mind
Except where required by law, Studio Kiku does not provide refunds because:
- you changed your mind;
- you no longer wish to complete the course;
- you did not use or complete the course;
- you did not achieve a desired business or employment result;
- the certificate is not accepted by a particular employer, regulator, insurer, or organization;
- you did not confirm the legal or professional requirements in your jurisdiction before purchasing; or
- you lacked the equipment, internet access, technology, licensing, supervision, insurance, or other requirements needed to use the course information professionally.
Team Seat Purchases
Unused team seats are non-refundable except where required by law.
If a technical or administrative error prevents an invitation from being delivered, Studio Kiku will make reasonable efforts to correct the invitation or assign the seat to the correct email address.
Once a seat has been claimed and course content has been accessed, the seat is non-refundable and cannot ordinarily be reassigned.
Promotional Purchases and Renewals
Purchases made using a promotional code, discounted price, or special offer remain subject to this Refund Policy.
A renewal purchase is a separate purchase of an additional access period and is subject to the refund terms accepted when the renewal is completed.
Revoked Access
If access is suspended or revoked because of account sharing, unauthorized copying, redistribution, fraudulent activity, security interference, or another material violation of the Terms of Purchase or Course Access Policy, no refund will be provided except where required by law.
Approved Refunds
If Studio Kiku approves a refund, it will normally be returned to the original payment method.
Processing times depend on Stripe, the payment network, and your financial institution. Studio Kiku cannot guarantee the date on which the refunded amount will appear in your account.
Once a full refund has been issued:
- access to the refunded course may be revoked;
- incomplete course progress may be removed;
- unused team seats may be cancelled; and
- any certificate associated with a refunded purchase may be invalidated.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or limits any cancellation, refund, chargeback, warranty, or consumer protection right that cannot legally be waived.
